Oyster farmers since 1927
We are ideally located at the foot of the bridge of the island of Noirmoutier, in the town of Barre-de-Monts / Fromentine, Vendée. The oyster farm spreads over 2,000 m2 of land and allows us to breed the oysters in claires or to pass in ponds throughout the year. Four generations of oyster farmers have today benefited from a perfectly maintained establishment equipped with all the tools necessary for a rigorous quality production.

Les Huîtres du Cap Horn, it is four generations which have built the solid foundations of a company, by continuing the traditions and the family know-how to produce quality shells. Come to discover our activity and just go with the flow in a universe where overflow human heat and maritim tradition. We shall welcome you with pleasure to share with you our passion for the oyster farming, the production of beautiful oysters raised off the Island of Noirmoutier.
We are the 5th generation to produce oysters in our family. It seemed essential to me today to concretize the valuation of our know-how and our constant commitment to satisfy our gourmets by the establishment of an internal quality charter.
The care taken in our production and the selection of the best shells allows us today to present ourselves at the Concours Général Agricole at the Paris Salon every year. Rewarded eight times, we won the Gold Medal again this year and continue our efforts to offer you beautiful oysters throughout the year.
Located at La Barre-de-Monts in Vendée, we produce and distribute our oysters in France and around the world.
